Tell Me Your Dreams

Are you planning an event?
Have a celebration to design?
Or a moment in your life that deserves to be marked in a way no one else in the world has experienced?

After decades of working across many different types of events,
I’ve developed a strong instinct for story—how an
experience unfolds, what people notice first, what they discover
next, and what they remember after they leave.

My design vocabulary comes from a fairly unusual combination of
worlds: theater, rock-and-roll touring, festivals, trade shows,
live events, lighting, scenery, rigging, technology, fabrication,
and art.

Each of those worlds taught me something different.

Music taught me harmony and timing.

Theater taught me how to tell a story.

Touring taught me scale and spectacle.

Festivals taught me energy and atmosphere.

Trade shows taught me how to capture attention.

Lighting taught me how dramatically a space can change without changing the space itself.

And art taught me that the smallest personal detail can sometimes become the thing people remember most.

So I don’t begin with a package or a catalog of decorations.

I begin with you.

What are you celebrating?

Who is it for?

What should they feel when they walk in?

What would make them stop and say,
“I have never seen anything like this before”?

From there, we can determine what the experience actually needs—
whether that means lighting, scenic elements, custom artwork,
projection, practical effects, unusual structures, interactive
pieces, or something that hasn’t been invented yet.

You don’t need to know exactly what you want before contacting me.

Sometimes all you need is the beginning of an idea.

Tell me your dreams.

We’ll figure out how to make them real.
